Hi guys,
A couple strange nuances I've noticed with the 32GB cards.
1) When I view the cards in FCP directly from the card through my 5-slot P2 card reader, it shows the correct number of clips (ie what I see in playback on the camera) However, when I copy this card to my HDD, there are more clips in the FCP import viewer, and it seems some of the clips arbitrarily last 12:22:00. There are no clips spanned across cards, all clips are contained on a single card.
2) Also, I will sometimes get a "Spanned" comment in the FCP window, even when I know the clip is not spanned -- it is continuous on a single card.
Thoughts? Is this just FCP weirdness? Anyone have these problems with alternative programs (like Raylight)? Thanks!
Peter
