As some of you know, I am working on a Health and Safety video in the discussion of STRESS in the workplace.

I shot it in about an hour, and I am currently editing it now.

Here's some grabs!

That looks really nice Robbie.
The shadows off the filing cabinet seem a bit harsh - but probably works for the context of the piece.

Post it up when it's done.

Ya Luis, I was actually thinking of getting rid of those in AE.

I'm going to post this up, and try to get as much critiques as possible before I mail it in for the contest. You can watch it, and see what you think of the edit, shots, CC, and shadows!

Thanks!

So far so good man! The pacing is perfect. It has a very clean simple but well executed feel. I really like the people walking quickly in front of the desk. Works really well. Is that green screened stuff just layed on top in AE? The blur makes it perfect. Anyways nice work. Is this cc'd? Looks good to me, just curious if this was a final coloring. Really nice sharp footage.

Ok jdajda, you seem to nice...Is this because you're always hard on me? :)

It's not a final CC. It might be, but I'm going to go over it once I'm done.

Is this winning material :)

To achieve that time lapse effects, I simply just had my sister do her thing while I zoomed in. In the mean time, I had my mom, and two employees at the building we were at. They offered to help. I started them off in position, and while I was zooming, I was calling out there names when to go. I was using the slowest zoom on the DVX. (1 speed on the handle)

Ok mom go. Rebecca, go! Louanne, go! And when I would say that, they would walk to the opposite side.

It was fun. In post, I fast forwarded to 70 percent (in AE, the lower the number the faster the footage goes, it's different in FCP that's why I'm telling you. 70% in FCP is slower)

Then, I applied the "Echo" effect in AE. This made the trails, ghost like, blurry figures. I also wanted to ask, was that effect off a bit? Did they look to much like ghosts? Should I tweak it more?

It's funny, the footage didn't turn out as sharp as I'd hoped. The settings were the same as last time I shot with my camera, but some shots, in 854x480 just didn't look good. Oh well, I'll give them a small file anyway.

I really liked it that much! I may be critical from time to time but this was good! Funny I thought it was sharp. Interesting way of doing the walking people. Probably the easiset way to do it for sure. I liked the level of bluriness they had. Made everything feel rushed. Is it winning stuff? I liked it. I also hated everything that won last year though. Maybe that was the best they had though. Are you talking about the CC change to the doctors office where it was nice and warm? I liked that. Seemed natural enough I didnt notice it at first, which is good to me. I'll check out the new one in a bit and see if you screwed it up :)

Nope, odd. The CC is the exact same in both shots. I don't know why the shadows change. I didn't move the lights.
