Which banner do you like?

I like the one without the grey outline. How about putting a white outline around the penguin instead of the glow?
 
I'm not really digging any of these...It's kind of a long and unusual name, so the elements really need to "pop" to support it. I would keep playing around with fonts and what goes where. Right now it's just picture + text and they don't really gel together yet. Definitely lose the glows and outline effects on the text. Maybe also consider simplifying the penguin graphic?

Here are a couple I threw together quickly. Maybe they will give you some more ideas. Good luck!

Okay, as far as the glow on the penguin goes, I like that. I did try other styles (outline, etc) but none of them really did it for me. This is what I came up with, although I have some concerns of my own (below):

Concerns:
1) I don't know if the slant of the word "Productions" does anything for it.
2) I know you guys said no glow on the words, but I like it a little around the green.
3) Maybe I should use a fluid font, instead of mixing. Although I kind of like the mix.
4) I like green, but maybe this should remain all black and white.

One last note: the penguin is extremely simple, I made it in paint and then made it look pretty with some bevel and emboss in PS. I think I am keeping the penguin the way it is, unless I decide to go all out and put the full guy up there in an overcoat. Thoughts?

I think if any look amateur-ish, it would be the oldest one: simple gradiant, hand drawn penguin, basic PS stuff. Although perhaps simple is sometimes better. I decided I don't like the way the word "Productions" looks in the last one, so I edited it:

Out of all yours, the one thing that bugs me, is the fact that the beak is barely in the image and the eye is masked in shadow (maybe for dramatic effect?).

By the way, I love the name of your company... good stuff.

I like that. I would use a darker green as the background. But if you don't mind, I may save that and go back to it on my next redesign.
I am also realizing that one logo will not please everyone, so I should take all of your advice and put it into consideration, but in the end find something that I like.

Thanks Jared, I may have to borrow a lot from that design.

I like this too, although that particular penguin is not the style I am looking for. Thanks for the kind words and for giving this a shot, I am going to adjust for more of the beak to be revealed. I had an issue with this too, but let it slide.

Okay, I know I haven't had any more imput, but I still kept at it and came up with this:

I am going to go ahead and put it in my signature, if anyone has any comments, I may change it later.

Jared - I am saving the second one you did, really liked it. I may decide to place it in my site's header. For now, I will keep the old site header, but I may make a larger version of the above banner or use the one you made.
