I think this one looks pretty good (hungrych's) when its in the page, but might need some color tweaking invovled to match your WP Template
Are you 100% in love with that Template?

This one's cool, but would ditch the light blue for a black and white gradient.

Yeah, but darker. That gradient is more gray. How about one without a gradient, and then one with a black and white gradient that is more black than gray. And the font three posts up looks better.

Fitting (skewing ?) the words to fill the frame

Removing the gradient and keeping it white only

Removing the Slate

Not to be presumptuous but have you considered changing it to "Cinema Obscura"? Like with "Camera Obscura That's what I think of every time I read "Cinema Obscure". And with
an Anhar style, 19th century looking/sketched on a napkin by Feynman graphic, that'd be so cool.
