plane crash. once again killing time w/nephew

good job

good job

It was good. I have to say that I think the CG graphics were a lot better on the burning wreckage than on the actual plane fly over. I do understand you did this in a few hours, and for that I think it was really good. I'd like to see what you can do with it if you sit and meticulously work on it. Again, Good job.

I would say the audio needs to be treated. The plane sounds a bit too stereo and bassy. I think too that the camera gitter at the end should be faster (i.e. Cloverfield).

Great work, the cg looks good for a one man operation.

From a technical perspective, the airplane is oriented 'strangely'. I've been trying to find a logical reason why an airplane would crash like THAT but i havent found any. The closest i can think of is engine failure on the left wing, but since i hear both engines running that doesn't make sense. if the vertical fin (rudder) was completely removed it could also look like that.

All of this is really above and beyond the call of duty. The fact is you rpobably didnt have a budget for an 'aviation consultant' of any kind. lol.

You did a decent job. My biggest problem is actually the FIRE and the crash scene itself, not the airplane movement. There shoudl be a ditch more than 100 feet long and perhaps as deep as 20 ft at the point of impact. At bare minimum, there should be fire along the surface stretching near the 100ft mark. Not just a topical bonfire. Debris and damage seem too contained.

you guys are great--this wasn't supposed to spark some intelligent debate. It was just for fun on a sat afternoon, spending about 1/2 hour on the details. As you can see by the green screen model I used--lol!
