What are the neccessary steps required to start an online DVD rental service?

Hello my name is Romane Orlando Robb ( http://hustleearnersempire.weebly.com) and I was wondering what is required for me to start my online DVD rental business out of my home in the big apple (New York). Can I just buy the DVDs and then rent them? Is that legal under The First Sale Doctrine?

What's the h*** is "The First Doctrine" ? When I google the phrase I find that it states that evidentialism requires a base in foundationalism, but what that has to do with DVD rentals is beyond me.
 
he's referring to "the first SALE doctrine". try googling that... ya filthy googler... always googling people's stuff.

I don't know how you are going to compete with Netflix. Blockbuster tried and failed miserably.

You don't buy from Best Buy. There are wholesalers. I don't know who they are anymore, as I worked at a video store over 16 years ago, but we had wholesalers that we bought from.

Yeah the wholesales thats who I want. I have a few of their numbers which I got from the web and yellow pages but I just want to have as much as possible to negotiate on the best prices. Thanks Ross appreciate that.

also great infor but I didnt get the part when you said it was made for ______ so we had the freedom. I didn't get the budget.
 
Nope you heard right. He explains it more in the IFHY thread, but I believe it pretty much covered food only. All else was defered if I remember right...
