Duelsystems Dual Adapter-- the way to go????

just bought the hvx200 (coming in a few days) with one 16gig p2 card and i have a macbook pro from last year.

i've been told unless i want to spend thousands of dollars (which i dont) that the only way to go is the dual adaptor (http://www.duel-systemsadapters.com/testimonials.cfm) and that i need to download a few drivers and then i'll be okay.

before i pull the trigger, can someone confirm this is a good workflow?
 
Besides the having to do restarts w/ leopard is blazing fast compared to firewire... Not to mention doesn't require any other equipment, just throw the card in and you're good.
 
tiger is probably better. you have to install 1 extra driver, but you don't have to do restarts if you remove it.
