USA unit can shoot 25 fps (well, 24.975 fps)

It's less hassle to just shoot 24P and then convert to 25P in post, frankly.

DV Rack is a computer software program, now renamed to Adobe OnLocation. It captures through the firewire port.

Hi guys,

I'm also about to purchase an HVX and I was wondering if it's a big difference if you play around with the speed of your clips in post when they are shot 50P with a pal version or 60P with a NTSC version, after all in sheer numbers it's a 20% difference. Especially when trying to achieve an as slow as possible yet fluid slowmotion the diffirence between PAL and NTSC is half a second if your timeline is set to play at 24 fps.

I hope I've done my math right but I'm looking for some hands one experience with this matter because in the end, all the above is just numbers.

Tnx

The reason why I'm asking this is the fact that I live in a PAL country and want to get my footage to be as flexible as possible.
