what about shooting Black and White?

hello masters of the HVX. I have a conundrum. I am shooting a feature in Black and white. We have a small budget and I am trying to convice the director that the HVX will be a better choice then film because it will allow us to do more things with the meger budget then spend it all on film and processing costs. Does any one know of any great examples of Black and white footage shot on the HVX or any related articles?

SAME QUESTIONS...
And what about shooting with B&W filters -red or yellow-. Or do it in post?

Personally, I'd shoot in color and do it all in post. That way you'd so many more options for contrast and shading.

You can't shoot black and white in camera (at least I don't think so) so you have to do it in post. If you look at the footage section under the HVX forums there are plenty of examples of great looking black and white footage shot with the HVX. Just look at user Nathan Beaman's stuff. Looks great in black and white.
