Best stabilizer for run and gun

I'll be traveling to Tunisia in a year and I want to begin to figure out what equipment i'll need. More specifically for stabilizing handheld shots. Any advice would be much appreciated.

camera-sony fx7, beachtek xlr adapter, and rode ntg2, mostly though will just be with the fx7.

as for the kind of shots, i really dont know. im going as a tourist i guess you could say, but i want to make a short film about the culture and lifestyle while there.

I think you just need to decide how you plan on shooting, I've noticed a big difference while playing with some different stabilizers, if you plan to use a glidecam, I doubt you'd be able to hold it for more then 15 minutes without a sore arm.

If you are going to moving around a lot, and don't mind something kind of big, I would take a look at the Varizoom DV Media Rig.

Will you have someone traveling with you that can hand you parts and stuff while your on the go?
