Hi Frank,

The HD-SDI stream on EX1 is in fact an uncompressed-HD stream (4:2:2).

Ya know... I knew that! I was thinking Firewire...That's a DV stream (Duh!) Thanks for the correction.

capturing through the HD-SDI from the cards is going to convert the 4.2.0 to 4.2.2, but it's not going to add the information back that you lost with the original 4.2.0 compression...
