First question I was trying to do and opening text, for my video I'm trying to shoot, I was watching this dude on youtube use some of his fonts and he had one called 28 days later. So my first question is where can I get more fonts to do text with (google it download it) Really could be helpful to have more fonts to choose from.

Second question, I was just playing around making a video at the house and I wanted to know how do you transition from on clip to another(somebody on here told me to change with the drum pattern) sounds great but how do I set up my footage on vegas to be able to do this What I did was open up one video track and put my first clip on there and where I wanted to add another clip in I cut the rest of the first clip out and cut the second clip where I wanted it and put it on the same track as the first and just put it right behind it. Okay that don't seem like the right way to do it, should I put my second clip on a whole other video track? if so how do I make it transition in and the first one out and what about the 3rd, 4th clip and etc..... Don't know but information would be very helpful and thank you all in advance.:violent5:

Okay the first question I got the answer now I just need help with the second question

I really do need help on the second question really don't know how to edit a clip. Just use one video clip or do a video track for each clip really don't know please help me out.

I you want to go from one video to the next with a smooth transition you have them both on the same track, and then you take and (drag with mouse) and overlap them.
And depending on how much you overlap them is how long and smooth the transition will be.
It will show you the amount of time its over lapped when you drag the one video over the other.

I'd highly suggest using Google and reading the manual; even the in help Vegas menus can answer your questions. GO to HELP < CONTENTS and INDEX, start typing TRANSITION and Bingo.

if you're that new to Vegas - go to this page, scroll down to Vegas 3.0 and download the tutorials. Obviously these were designed about 6 years ago but work VERY WELL to get you up to speed in Vegas. Couple of things have changed but not so much that it won't give you a great overview in a couple of hours.

ps - be sure to download the training manual and work from that. You'll be flying before you know it.
