Top 10 Films of 1984...

OK, so I'm makin' up for lost time...

1984...

During the filming of a Pepsi commercial, Wacko Jacko's hair was set ablaze - Wendy's struck advertisement gold with the introduction of "Where's The Beef?" into the pop culture pool - History's longest ballgame ever was played between the Brewers and the ChiSox...when the smoke cleared, it had gone on for 25 innings (at a mind-boggling eight hours and six minutes!)

Please try to do a top 10 in order (hard as it may be) with an optional two or three "honorable mentions".

Dude, when they are at the dinner table and they cut open the big snake and eat the little snakes... That is freaking freaky.

Touche? What's up with that?

That shot gives me chills to this day... That food scene was the scariest thing I had ever seen up to that point.

Re: Indiana Jones and the T of D

I saw this in the theatres when I was 8 years old, and I remember enjoying it, but thinking it wasn't as good as the first one :)

It's still my least favorite of the trilogy. Lucas and Spielberg have both said they shot the first two movies like they were TV (I take that as meaning cheap and fast). To me, the second one felt a little cheap, but now I can appreciate the effects they accomplished, particularly the mine cart scene.

Just being lazy with my typing today...I meant tou·ché.

I know what you meant, but I still had to pick on you... It just reminded me of that Simpson's episode where Homer is walking around smacking people saying "I demand satisfaction" and challenging people to duels. There's something funny about that word... It's going to go into my horrorfest entry.

Parker and Stone are brilliant satirists, and they unfortunately did not win the oscar that year.

And Nineteen Eighty-Four was the best film in 1984 (no I'm not trying to be cute).
