The monitor works in 1080i and has an effective resolution of 480 vertical lines. It does not work in 720p, but is definitely good with 1080i out. I haven't found a good LCD below Marshall, Swit, or anything like that which would work @ 720p properly. That said, worked fine for me all this time!

I've used it on my own personal shooting events. Talking heads, stuff for friends and family but larger productions generally rent out Panas and Marshalls my way. Everything works!!! I have the packaging for the screen and Mayflash and I'll pack it all up for ya.

Prices listed are what they cost new. My price at the bottom.

ah cool, i need one of these lcd screens. I'm looking for one for the DVX100B though... is this screen overkill for dvx100b? especially it being 1080i? I hope you don't mind, but if yours isn't good for dvx100b, what are the ones i should be looking for? (that is also good enough quality to rely on for focus)
 
It'll work for the DVX100 and HVX200. No worries. :D

It's got a 480 resolution and can handle a max input of 1080i. It comes with the VGA cable so you can use standard definition.
 
Are you saying that I can for sure focus with my xha1 with this? in hd? If I can why is the ikan better?

Depending on your answers I'm definitely interested.
 
Because the iKan is an all in one package and probably has glare protection.

This one uses a pair of batteries to power the component converter and the screen itself.

iKan also accepts 720p input. This one will only accept 480 and 1080i (which is fine by me but may not work for others?). I can pull Focus with it EASILY indoors, outdoors you need a hood or a glare sheet.

That said, I can also pull focus with the HVX LCD without an issue.

Ryan -- PM'd you back. I have two interested peoples. If they don't respond in the next few hours with payment I'll go ahead and sell you one of the batteries and put the rest of the stuff on ebay.
