"Numb" Short FILM - mini35

My DVX doesn't have a 'rad' setting on the iris. I wonder if I should call the manufacturer. The master ped only can be adjusted numerically. What's going on here? Looking through the manual... Nope. Not there either. LMAO!

Man, I love it. I'm not asking I'm demanding that you let me know what lens & lighting & setting you used. you could save me alot of time if I just could get advice from the pros. that was hot, & inspired me to really focus. good job keep up the good work. & please give up the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I really appreciate everyones' feedback and have given me confidence to send this out to film festivals. Anywho, to answer some questions, the zeiss pl lenses were the lenses we used. Had about 5 different lenses in the package. For the phone booth lighting setup, basically all we had lighting her face was a 4x4 silk with a 2k shinning though and a 1k hitting her backside. a lot of light is needed with the mini35, I think i recall it takes a stop and a half of light down, so ya
 
If you don't mind me asking, what was your budget and how did you raise it? I don't remember seeing any signage in the film. :)
 
That was an awesome short. reminds me of the movie "november", the color, the mood, the feel. was this inspired by that movie?

one thing though that i noticed, how come you don't have credits for the actors, they were pretty good.
 
loved the entire thing, i lost attention rather quick, but i kept it through this whole clip. great work.
