Indiana Jones 4

I loved that moment in Crusade with the stamp LOL. That makes me laugh everytime. I think people forget the kind of story it is. Its not the Batman Begins style, its supposed to be goofy in spots, with some humor, and then the serious stuff. Its meant to be that fun time that you miss at the movies.

I think bickering about Marcus character isn't really fair. His character wasn't explored much in Raiders so his true personality in Crusade was a non-issue for me. I didn't think it was out of the ordinary at all since there wasn't much invested in him previously.

Last Crusade had the once serious Marcus running around like a clown. It turned what could have been a cool father/son story into a joke 'Junior?!'

DONT CALL ME JUNIOR !

The action sequences were uninspired sans the final tank fight.

The old guy in the museum stamping library books and the loud banging that conicided; lame.

Ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

Hated it.

Well darn it, you just described my favorite parts. I guess I thought everyone liked The Last Crusade. That said, it's been at least 5 or 6 years since I've seen it. I may be remembering it as a much better movie than it really is...but I hope not. :)

Well, seeing it when you are young may have something to do with it ? I was 19 when I saw it and was just over it for the most part. Even in this new trailer, when he delivers the one liner after landing in the truck ...

Lame !

I would have set the new Indy with the Japanese Imperial Army involved and set in the South Pacific.

The German storyline has gotten old so I hope we don;t see them again; is the new trailer showing French soldiers ? Can't tell.

John, don't you know it's not "correct" to have Asian characters speaking English with dialectic inflection? Germans are okay, but not Asians. You're insensitive. Monkey brains!

GL&SS learned some hard lessons on Doom. Lucas brings Spielberg down. Normally, Steven takes big chances and usually comes out on top. If he can take an unflinching look at the fallout after Munich, Speilberg should be able to stand up for the Jones franchise. I think he let Lucas drive Crusade and it was a slap-happy, high-key vanity piece. Better than Doom, to be certain, but that's not saying much.

The new Indiana Jones movie should have been set in a contemporary world to make the advanced age of the characters more believable, and would have made the new movie more engaging. Also, I don't want to see Mr. Ford's chest, please.

Things have gone way South in this thread since someone posted a naked picture of Harrison Ford. Why exactly did that happen anyway?
