XDCAM EX1 on the road blog

Philip, while your adapter work is a beaut, I think you should do a lot more adapter free work. Even if it's just for fun, a lot of potential buyers may be shooting adapter free, and it's interesting to compare the looks.

Plus the adapter free look of the EX1 is a bit of a beaut too. I would love to see more footage like this.

sure but I shoot for me, or for commerical work. hence I shoot to make it look the best. You can see some adaptor free work under Religion and on my blog recently.

I did some food porn on the ex1 last week. Mostly shot 1080p with some 720p overcrank stuff.

You can see some of the shots cut together for the hell of it (the clients have given me permission to post this, the actual footage is being edited, graphically played with then stuck on hd plasmas in movie theatres).

but best of all, i am posting for the first time UNGRADED!!! some of it is underexposed and it pains me to do it, but what the hell!. Also look under the rolling shutter section for the finished lithuania news item. mostly shot letus free and handheld.

All on my blog!

Yeah.
Over here it might go: "just checking in, old son, what's your game, then? porno with turnips, is it? the FDA will be wanting a word with you"

that's bonkers. it's a very common phrase in the UK. Food shot to look good is called food porn!

After a while I guessed that, but I did get an image of a bunch of overweight dirty old men watching a video of young skinny people eating all sorts of food; "Oh my, she's going for the Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream!!!" (Starts to breath heavily...)

Sorry Phil, I have a twisted mind...

I did a ww1 drama shoot using 2 ex1s yesterday for Blackbox Media based out in Wales.

Some was shot with Letus Extreme, some without. Here are some screen grabs.

Doing an edit together of some footage today
