Hvx Snowboard Film "air + Stle"

Man that was great.

The editing, over/under cranking, color grading.... it was all lovely.

What music where you playing?
 
That was great. Nice camera movements, and those "time-pass" pans looks incredible. The only thing I didn't care for was those fast zoom-ins in the end when the riders did their landings as it kinda went off the overall mood, but that is just me nit-picking :)

that was sick

the only thing was that the crowd noises seemed a little forced and awkward..there weren't enough shots of the actual crowd to balance it

but thats just being picky

DM_rider: Yea, exactly. Overcranked between 30fps and 60fps.

whachusay: The music was by air, boards of canada and johnny cash. Glad you liked it!

Nathan Beaman: As a long time fan of your work, its really encouraging to hear that you liked it.

filmbot: yep, I won the snowboarder mag contest.

Smettli: I agree. The reason I did that was because originally I was going to use a much different song at the end that worked with that sort of cinematography. Unfortunately the song didnt really work with the piece as a whole.

I totally understand, Sam. You have a song in the head while filming, but find out in editing to go another way about it.
Glad to see Norway did well in the competition :)
