Ok, guys. The server is just getting too much load. It smoothed out a bit when folks started uploading to mine.

Here's the deal.

If you have not yet successfully uploaded to www.dvxfest.com/upload then post here and let me know

Let's do this two at a time. There are a couple going right now.

Once those are clear, I'll pm a couple of other folks and let them know to begin uploading.

Otherwise, you will all just bottleneck each other and no one will get uploaded.

SO, if you can afford to wait in line a little longer, please post that here. If you are in an internet cafe and have to work in 3 hours, please post so here.

Let's all get in line so everyone can get their films uploaded.

Post 'em up if you haven't uploaded ot dvxfest.com/upload and let me know right here in this thread and I'll issue you a "ticket" for upload

later,
Jason

I haven't been able to complete an upload yet.
I have an upload going right now that seems to be doing okay (though last time it died at 58%)

EDITED TO ADD:
Upload Completed!

I'm currently at 70%

I will post here once I'm uploaded so we can greenlight another.

Ok, let's let ARrik finish. He's in an internet cafe. Luis is next.

If you can't line up, I'll still offer an ftp location on my server as a temp solution (that is NOT guaranteed). You will have to make arrangements with larry to re-upload at a later time when the server is not so bogged and we will verify that both entries are the same.

Otherwise, get in line here, and I"ll give you the go one or two at a time.

Later,
Jason

100% folks. It flies like this. For those still waiting, try to work with jason on this. Get everyone to bed faster.

100%

WOW.
Jason - you're awesome.
JUST finished uploading.

I'll echo Arrik's comments - everyone that's left (if there is anyone) should work together on this to make it easier on eachother.

Nice, luis. That was quick. I'm gonna head home now. This was fun. Work should be fun tomorrow. Good luck all.

You gotta hand it to JASON. What a dude. .... OF course, he DID make me log into his system with the password "markisgay" ... :)

ha ha .... Well, I am sort of bright and happy. Frankly, now that I have a 6-pack of Stellas and the film uploaded, I'm damn happy.

Hey, I'm going now...so....I'll post back up here when it finishes. It's flying though, so it should be done pretty soon.

go for it, man. channels are open at the moment.

Anyone else who was having trouble uploading and still needs to upload, please post so here, so you can get in line.

I'm punching out in a while.

later,
Jason

Cool.

I've seen 8 additional films uploaded to dvxfest in the last while after the server issues... I've got a couple on my server as well.

Hope that's everyone. I'm punching out in a few, so speak now or forever hold your peace. Whatever happens between now and the morning is out of my hands :)

Later, and good luck to everyone in the fest. Looking forward to it.
