"Tree Fire", Dvx100a/SGpro r3

[connorfilm]

After Christmas tradition.

Burning my friends Christmas tree's in his fire pit. good times.

btw everyone wasn't super morbid like they are in the shots. I just told them to be to make it seem more dramatic.

Shot with a Nikkor 50mm 1.4

Cool.

What music is that from?

Hope no sparks got on your DVX or lens

[K-Dikian]

Excellent footage... good direction (people's faces match the mood you were going for), great job!

[PaPa]

gotta love that SGpro bokeh

[connorfilm]

The music is from one of my favorite movies. Donnie Darko.

The song is called Liquid Spear Waltz.

If you haven't seen the movie you definitely should give it a try. I rented it based off the poster and the name.

[iFILM]

what is it that draws people to fire?
well i liked it a lot, fantastic images
especially loved the silhouette of the face as he's looking down, towards the end

[tommetass]

beautiful looking footage

nice connor!

Burn the X-mas tree! I didn't think the sgpro would be that light efficient in that situation, looks really nice. And the entire donnie darko score is great

[tommetass]

yeah it has a very nice mood
