DVrig HD knock off from India

Jade,

In case you didn't read. My first company failed due to the advent of Limewire. Yes, I tracked DVDs as they hit the web. My sales died, as did my company.

No, it is not okay. I wasn't saying it was. I was saying that as much as we discuss it, we can't change it. I can't find the kid who uploaded my DVD for the first time, I can't find out who copied my DVD and sold them himself. I just got totally screwed. And it sucks, but it happened. You can't do anything about it.

I understand you are animate about this, but going after me for my statement isn't going to change the fact it is still going on.

Sure, I understand the realities of it. Patents/copyright infringements are a continuing problem, especially now because of the internet. We must acknowledge that it is a common practice but at the same time we must never give the impression that this somehow makes it okay. It is not. I'm no idealists, but I would hate for someone to read this thread and come away with the notion that because everybody else steals, it is okay for them to do it to.

The reason all these manufacturers spend money on R & D is to improve the quality of their adapter. The knockoff companies don't give a crap. Their commitment to quality is much lower and their investments is therefore much lower.

Exactly! That's why I said Dennis or whoever it is that sells the real deal version should not have to worry about it nor does anyone here that knows the difference. I certainly would not spend a penny on a copied replica that I do not approve the quality.
Hey, since everybody else steal, that makes it okay. That's all I have to say about that.

It depends, if you steals too then yes, it's okay. If you're not then it's not okay. That's why we live in a free society/democracy country. You're free to do what you want until you're caught. You're free to choose which product you want to purchase be a knock off version or the real deal. For me, I learned my lesson.
