I was upset it wasn't snowing when I woke up because we had a 90% chance overnight. About 2pm rolls around and then the heavens open up. I filmed all this in my front and backyard. I used my brother and a friend. Good times.

Tech - Everything was shot at 60p and some sped up. I shot with a 50mm and a 135mm. Anything else just let me know.

This is my 3rd little video, tell me what you think!

That was awesome. Great shots. I have a question for you. I am trying toget my videos on my site to download Progressively just like yours but I cant figure out how. How did you get yours to "stream" while they were loading?

Ummm in Compressor I do a 800kbs stream, under the 3rd tab on INSPECTOR(to the right) there should be something that says OUTPUT FIELDS. Click it and then it will allow you to change to progressive.

I attached an image of what it looks like.

Hope I could help!

Excellent!!!
Where are you from?
I am sorry if it is right in front of my eyes, I haven't slept yet.

Yes 720 60p.
dvcprohd.
And I did a white balance on a white shirt actually, that turned out pretty nice.

: )

Beautiful. The whole piece was very nice, and good visual syncing with the low bass line. Just one thing, why does the color change a bit when the footage is slowed down?
Again, really great work. loved it.

What did you use to slow mo the footage? Twixtor? And about what shutter speed did you shoot most of it?

Looks really nice from what I saw.. wouldn't load past a certain point though... I like the snow going in reverse too.. cheers

Beautiful image's...

I want that dude's jacket... and scarf... and hoodie.

And I want you to shoot that snow falling with a GIANT greenscreen in the background, so I can key out and use it for my own projects ;)

We don't get snow like that here in TX:violin:

Yes when I was panning up on the guy, CU. No matter how much i messed with my levels I couldn't get the two to match. Pretty frustrating, I was hoping it was too slightly to notice. On the CU of the tree, panning with the guy walking, it changes due to my vignetting, it turns dark real quick, because I was at f2,8 so my sides would really lose light.

Thanks though man, hopefully I can make it look better in the future.

I shot it all in 720-60p.
Then I simply just played some of the footage at normal speed.
All in Final Cut.
For the shutter, it was shot at 250 and 120.

Hahaha right on, that is no good.
That was pretty much our only snow so far and it fell hard.
We usually get sleete or just ice.

I used to liv in Ft Worth a long time ago.

wow, awesome. You've inspired me to go out and shoot with my m2 this afternoon.

What were you using to cover up your cam and adapter? I'm guessing just a plastic grocery bag?

Hey excellent man, I am glad I inspired you!
Ummm actually I had an umbrella really close to my camera when I was shooting! Risky but as you see from the video, no wind, just straight down. So I didn't have to worry about something coming in from the side.
