Low Lighting - 200, 500 or xx?

I'm writing a screenplay for a feature film project of mine (won't be shooting till about August '08) and it will include a lot of low light scenes like bars, and apartments, or more specifically a lot of night shooting - though plenty of day shooting as well.

I've been trying to do as much research as possible regarding cameras to use (rent or buy, I haven't figured out yet) and while the HVX200 is an affordable camera I've also read on this forum that it's not as capable in low light as the HPX500 is - and I don't know if I should hold out for a RED ONE.

My question is this. Would it be better to buy 2 200's, get a 500 because it's better for the low light scenes which will definitely be part of the movie, or try and rent a fully optioned RED?

I've read that you can compensate with more lighting on the 200 (of which I'll still have to learn plenty about), but why start off with a camera that has less of an edge in this setting for about half the price? Is the 500 that much better because of 2/3 over the 1/3?

Absolutely any insight on the comparison of these two cameras in mostly low-light settings would be appreciated, and if you're local to PDX and know a bit about shooting in HD please write as I have a lot to learn.

The 500 is far more sensitive than the HVX or Red (both rated at 320 ISO, the 500 is rated at 960). Doesn't mean the 500's picture as good as the Red, but I'm talking strictly on sensitivity here.

Yes, the 500 is that much better than the 200 specifically because it's 2/3" instead of 1/3".
