Hello,
I am considering the purchase of an EX-1 and did some shooting at a store where the salesmen transfered the footage to my Mac Pro laptop via the USB port. I now can't import the footage into FCP.
On my desktop there is a CLRP and TAKR folder and two .XML files. In the CLRP folder there are sub folders each with a .MP4, .SMI, .XML, and two .PPN files. I upgraded to FCP 6.02, Quicktime 7.4, and OSX 10.4.11 and installed XDCAM Transfer 2.1 and the SxS driver. (Didn't do anything to active QT 7.4 as I have in the past.)
When I open FCP and select Import Sony XDCAM the transfer window opens, but when I select ADD from the bottom of the left window the Sony file folders do not appear as a choice.
The files were shot in 720 24p and I have used EX 720 24p and the generic capture template (don't see a EX capture template) in Easy Set UP.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks, Drew Harty
