Looking for 3/8" mount for 15mm rods

not that I know of. They do make noga arms with clamps though (which is useful for tripod mounting... so you could use that on your rails. The zacuto one is a great way to go though.

The rail-mounted tripod plate can already be bought separate. It's called a baseplate. If you're talking about mounting plate only, then I don't think that Redrockmicro offers a solution. Cinevate has something a little cheaper than the Zacuto option.

If you get a simple thread converter like the one shown here or something here., and attach it to what Dennis has with his rail system. Dennis's rail piece has a 1/4" mount on it. Check it out here. http://www.cinevate.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=68

Yeah, I mean the mounting plate only... Not the baseplate for the camera. I have one from Cavision and one from indiFOCUS - both of them have a 1/4-20 and a 3/8 female thread.

DX - where did you get your rails? You might just want to call them and ask for a new tripod mounting plate. I can't imagine it would be too expensive, and then you don't need an adapter and a rail mount.

Will,
Got my rails from Cavision. i will look into it. Thanks again Joseph and Will for all your kind help.

I really appreciate it.
