Person of Interest

Tasty little appetizer!

It would seem you've got the top 5 fundamentals right:

#1: Writing
#2: Writing
#3: Writing
#4: Acting
#5: Production Value

Looking very much forward to seeing more of this. Great luck to you!

the blonde woman is fantastic. and the lead with the mohawk, i love him. his seemingly threatening exterior is betrayed by a "small" voice... i love it. both are very, very natural and compelling. which i know, is a reflection of the director. it's very easy to get in the way of your actors, tripping them up and in their head and not their character. you've clearly got them supercharged and down for whatever.

Man that girl looks exactly like somebody I knew in college. Made me do a double take...but its not her.

Thanks man. Yeah, the lead is actually the writer. He's an incredibly talented guy with an amazing voice as a writer. The girl, also amazing, is even more so when you find out she's 19 and never done any acting before.

About to head into another heavy weekend of shooting. I'll have some more to post next week. Cutting along the way.

nice real radio station there :) i noticed the automation software we used at the last station i worked at.

this was well put together. i'd like to see more of it.

great line "100k hits? i only get 5 hits." "...i'm one of them."

It just keeps getting more intriguing. I really want to get to know these characters. If the story is as tight as the trailer suggests it is, I see a great spot for you in the festival circuit.

Keep it up and keep us posted!

Dare I say that you "borrowed" the idea with the radio DJ from Jesus Camp?
It looks good, though.

Wow! Very nice. In that second teaser, it feels like the first section of him giving a lecture goes on too long for a teaser. You could probably cut that section in half and still deliver the same message.

Good luck with the rest of the project.

Looks good. Looks like Taxi Driver meets Fight Club. But as they say, the good ones borrow, and the great ones steal.

What type of audio set up did you guys use (mics etc.)? Any ADR?

Keep up the good work.

I think it's very interesting and that's all you can do for a trailer. I really liked the radio dude, it's like a V.O. but more clever. But i wanted a few establishing wide shots. it was all too tight (even if you were going for that) plus, when you go wide, then your tight shots will feel even tighter. good work though.

It has a story line and it looks like a very interesting topic.
The trailer is great.

What are you doing with this project?
DVD, television???
