Profanity WARNING: "SH**" said once (part of original script).

My 15 y/o nephew and I had some time to kill today.

Took out the Shawshank script and played around. We deliberately mispronounced "Dufresne"--it's an inside joke at our house.

Lip movements off a little but single takes were the rule.

BIG time compression.

OPEN with Quicktime.

NEWest LINK because of problems mentioned below:

wow, it was very hard to open that page, all i got was Zwinky download, and dress up this doll.

sorry papa-- I don't know what's going on ...

It's not happening to me anymore--

My internet settings might be more restrictive, though.

CLICK THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SCREEN CHANGES...?? MAYBE--

wow man, that was fantastic! What a clean key! ( mind you its not like your dealing with hair or anything. But still, mind blowingly clean.

The colors, wow, those colors really pop. What were your settings and how much of this look was achieved in post?

I am glad you were able to view it--we had a lot of fun.

Everything was done in post pretty much--just made sure I was white balanced for the key. Most of the backgrounds were photos (from flickr.com) and I added the waves with MOTION. I could've spent a week more adding fun stuff but that wasn't the goal. The car clip used actual highway footage by my house. VO was artificially lowered in FCP.

CC'd then used Nattress preset filters for each VO scene--different ones, for example, Basic Warm, Sepia, Soft Diffusion, etc.

We're doing a conspiracy thriller with these puppets--there are 14 of them. It's been a long project!! I need to start hanging around with real people soon.

MPEG 4. It's one of quicktime pro's suggested file formats for web-based viewing.

just use quicktime.

or tell me what type of file you want and I'll create one--no prob.

The thing is, the original file is 1.04 GB, so to make it manageable (11 Mb), I used quicktime pro and MPEG 4.

Well, I can play it if I drag and drop it onto my Quicktime player (Mac), but it shows up as an iTunes icon as you have it.

Kylekmd, try exporting again, but rather than using the MPEG4 special menu, export as a Quicktime using the MPEG4 option. The options there are a little different, (try compression around 60%), but you'll end up with a .mov MPEG4, rather than an .m4v

Looks good though, and reminds me of Thunderbirds.
