Thanks!
I can't show any moving footage til after she submits to a film fest but as soon as that happens I will do a mash up with music. The moving footage looks great. There are a few dolly moves and there is this one camera follow that was a ***** to do with focus pulls and framing as I moved but I nailed it 2 times in a row. Definitely reel worthy.
Looks great, Aram. Shame about the edge to edge. What lenses were you using that exhibited this effect? I use a 50mm and have never had issue with edge to edge so far. Always, been real sharp.
Aside from that, the grabs look great. Composition, lighting, colors, etc... All very good. Looks like you get better every time you post something.
Hey Jason, thanks. It was the wides, the 50mm didn't do it but I figured it out with focusing the camera a second time after I focus the lens instead of taping the ring down. I read that there can be different focus points in ground glass depending on the lens and also that when the camera heats up it will change also. Go figure.
I try my best to get better each time. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I must be doing something right, David Mullen asc gave me some kudos. http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/index.php?showtopic=28531
