marshall 5.6" monitor mounting

I received my marshall 5.6" monitor package today and i noticed it does not come with anything to mount it onto the camera. Any suggestions? i would also like to mount the rechargeable battery that it comes with.

thanks,

Cory

I'd say go with a rails system to secure it. Noga articulating arms are by far the standard. I'm a Zacuto zamerican user myself.

So yes do tell.. do you want a rods/rails system or do you want it mounted straight to the camera?

sorry for not going further into detail.

i currently have a redrock m2 35mm adapter and i will be using the monitor for flip reasons so i already have a rods system for that...id like the monitor to be on the camera...but i do not know where to mount the battery that it comes with.

Joseph,
I agree on the Zacuto, you recommended it for my hpx and I just got it last week. It rocks. I have a noga for my litepanel and the Zacuto mount just IMO much much better. You do have to pay for the better build.

Here's an option for you from Zacuto... two zicromounts for quick release capabilities and an articulating arm. http://www.zacuto.com/two_zicro_mounts_and_small_zamer.htm

This would enable you to quickly remove the arm and screen in a "break away" fashion for run and gun style shooting. The battery is another thing. Gaffers tape always works! There are options if you're using rails... do you not have Redrockmicro rails for your M2? They sell a power/battery accessory don't they?

yeah i actually have some room left on my rods so i was thinking of getting two clamps that are the right size and then attaching the battery to that somehow.
