Hi there:)

My friend and I set out on a quest to get our newly ordered network router.. Wohoo!...
I just had to bring the camera, the sunshine was just calling out to me!
Come! Shoot me! :D

I think this is the sharpest footage I have gotten with the SGpro for now.. The master ped was at -8 I think.

(Should be watched in VLC player, QuickTime actually takes away the nice contrast and colors. At least on my computer...)

If you're wondering about the outcome of the story:
Of course when we got to our mailbox, I had forgotten the key to open it.
And then we went again (without the camera) and then we needed a number which we had on an email I had gotten, so I went back(again) and texted the number to my friend there..

Very nice. Very Jealous. Of both the SG and where you live. It looks very nice. Way better then Canadian suburbia.

anyone?

anything?

Two comments is kind of depressing.. don't get me wrong, I like the feedback I got.. but just some kind of critique, comment, rating on youtube, fav on youtube.. anything would be nice

(Tomas.. stop your whining! :nads:)

Hi,

I think the sharpness is better, but you can surely get more sharpness out of your adapter. Have you tried the steps posted at SGpro forum?
Because, no matter which lens you put on, the low resolution on the DVX is low so you can get much sharper.
By saying that I mean that it’s depending on the backfocus more than anything else.

Nice colour otherwise!
Good luck!

Did you see the high ress version or youtube?

And I've tried those steps, did not do it this time though.. but I used sort of my own technique.

It's a guy walking for two minutes. There isn't too much to crit.

Work on following focus. You loose it a lot. And try shooting from more locations then your hip in order to change it up a bit.

Look..

This was (not even) a 10 min walk up an down.. And I wasn't trying to make a film here. I just wanted to see (for myself) some SGpro footage.. and I gotta say personally that I just love the SGpro more and more...

So this is another "test". This is to show some footage with the SGpro and DVX... I mean.. look at the shadows, the bokeh, the colors, the light! I absolutely love this combo...

So I probably have to explain myself better.. I apologize on my part for (again) not explaining better..

And one more thing.. I hope you all watch the high ress version cause it is a lot sharper.. and this time it was really hard focusing while he was walking because he walks really, really fast AND he's a lot taller than me.. It's easier to focus when the subject is moving slower..
if this was film I would have him walk slower and I would do many takes just to get the correct focus..

Next time just skip posting the youtube link, then you're sure people are watching the intended version

Hehe thanks for the tip:)

I actually thought about that, that's what I did at first, but I felt bad for people with bad network connections:cry: hehe
