bmx day trip to South Carolina

Pretty sweet - lot of distortion on the WA lens = cool. A little faster tempo in the edit might be nice. Maybe a little more contrast and color to help with the overcast footage. I don't know if you are happy with the color but a lot of it had white looking a little too orange (incorrect white balance).

Pretty cool stuff... the first interview shot looked like the white balance was off a little, but not a huge deal. You had great production values with the opening animation... really caught my eye. I liked how it was cut together... it was a fun video. The last interview I think could have been framed a little better since some of his head was cut off a little, but that is just nit-picking.

Can't wait to see more of your stuff.

i was kinda going for the orange'sh look with that. and the fisheye is the 16x9 ultra fisheye. no steadicam'n or anything, all handheld except for interview stuff. i was kinda rushing on the last interview stuff, which i regretted later. i shot a lot of other interview stuff at other spots but they didn't get a good story going with what all happened so i didnt use it.

i'm gonna be doing a small series of web videos for eastern this year, gonna be out in LA at the end of FEB for the next one.

hey mangler sorry about the fs 100 i was all ready to by the thing but had a few unexpected expenses thanks to james foster haha hope all is well man happy new year!!

Nice Mangler! Your footage has really put my faith back into the 16x9 fisheye. I guess before all the footage I had seen from other people was really poorly filmed, so I couldn't see the real potential of the lens.

A question I've always wondered..

Do BMXers film on their bikes? Or do they film on skateboards? Or does it vary? I know its pretty easy filming lines on a skateboard, and it seems like it'd be a lot harder to film on a bike.

some have made their way to skateboards and even dreaded rollerblades. I'll always film on a bike, but each filmer has their preference.
