DVX Film 'Little Thumb' Entirely On YouTube!

Greetings!

I just recently finished my first feature film entitled ‘little thumb’ this past February. Since then its played in two festivals, one of which I took home the “Most Promising Filmmaker Award.” There was a post on DVXuser that said your first film should mean something that is important to you. I had a story that involved me so I made it about my family history and in many ways helped mend a lot of pain within it.

Since August, I have put all my funds and efforts on my next documentary, so I haven’t done much with sending out to other festivals.

So, I thought it would be a cool idea to post the whole thing on YouTube and see what kind of responses I get. So last night I did and I wanted to make sure to share it with the website that made me fall in love with the DVX.

So if you have 77 minutes… check it out. Here is a summary and a list of links to the 11 sections of the film.

Thanks,

Chad Kremer

The idea that even the most ordinary person can have an extraordinary impression on others is the central theme of Chad Kremer's first film Little Thumb. This documentary looks at the life of Frank Wybenga, a Dutch immigrant who in the mid 1950's escaped his dark past at a Nazi concentration camp by moving to the United States with his wife and infant son. In 2006, seven years after his death, Frank's eldest son and grandson journey back to the Netherlands to honor Frank's memory by revisiting his past, all while trying to bring some closure to their own.
