testing fevercity's "Warm Rust" dvx100 & SGpro

Hey man,

love the look.

Do you find the SGpro brings more noise to the DVX'S image, or does it decrease the noise more?

Thanks.

It does look to be sharper than your other footage but still looks a bit soft.
The sgpro should have nothing to do with noise in the image.

Thanks for the comments:)

I've never felt that the SGpro adds or removes grain..

Hope you took the time to download the better quality file.. cause it should be a lot sharper than youtube.. and the softness in the high quality version is of course my fault cause it's "a ***** to focus"...

Looking good. Haha, it's always fun to see other peoples camera victims, he wasn't exactly dying to get that lens up in his face :)
One question though, were you shooting with the lens wide open?

Hehe, thanks :)

I think this was at f/4.0 with my 35mm Canon FD f/2.0 (if that helps)..

Oh and sorry for the mistake:P

Ok, it was just that some of the shots had really shallow DOF, but you were pretty close to the subject so I guess that's why :)

Yeah, I stayed pretty close to the subject.
I really want and need a new lens.. maybe a 130mm or something..

Loved the footage, You and Smettli have some good footage on here, cant wait to add some with you guys! ! more month, I think Im going to go a little crazy! I would love to se you guys make a short film though with the SG, when i get mine, I will be in production for my fist short the week after! cant wait man!

Looks really good, although i think you went a *tad* overboard with the blacks - you seem to have lost alot of shadow detail. One thing i have to say is that the bokeh looks great!
