Short Film shot with DVX100A

That's great, I really enjoyed it! I liked the composition on all your shots.

Your friend in the movie, did he write the music? Just wondering, since the film showed him with the little Korg keyboard there. I thought the music was a great match for the film. It reminded me of Boards of Canada.

Thanks. Composition is key to me. I'm going to grad school and trying to get my MFA in Cinematography. Got a lot of practice and work to do. The music is a song by the amazing talented Victor Bermon. He's a wonderful australian musician who was kind enough for me to use his song.

Boards of Canada is fantastic by the way!

I was very impressed with this. Excellent use of the camera. This film sincerely touched me. It's shorts like this that really make you stop and think of the importance of life. My heart goes out to your friend.

I love the DVX100. It's such a godsend.

I'm glad you enjoyed it...life is soo wonderful and powerful and difficult to catch on film with genuine sincerity.

i really loved this! awesome shots and pacing. i especially loved the wall of photos and the end credits where you give us a glimpse of the list. i downloaded your movie while doing 8 other things ( like getting my 3 young kids ready to go down to bed etc. ) and stupidly i started playing it before i was done. eh, i thought, i'll start it now and pause it and maybe i'll get back to it...

well, forget that because i finished your movie and for a moment the rest of the world had to wait. thank you very much for sharing you flick!

Aww thank you so much, that was very kind. I'm glad that I could share that with you.

You are a very talented filmmaker. I just ordered my DVX100 and watching your short film really made me excited about the opportunities I will have to learn and grow as a short filmmaker. I am very sorry about the reasons for the film, but I understand dealing with tragedy through short film. I have been doing much the same.
It allows me to dedicate some time to the people that I love. I had also never heard of the Vimeo site, so I signed up right away.
Thanks for making this.

honeslty that was one of the most beautiful and emotional short films ive seen in a while, i really like it, it was amazing. i think knowing that the personal connection was there made it even harder to watch, but at the same time added such a higher emotional level. and the camera work was really well done as well, all in all, very good work.
