Movies You Would Rather Vomit On Than Watch Twice

Shoot 'Em Up.

I have three questions:

1. Why does this movie exist?
2. What are Monica Belucci ! and Clive Owen doing in it?!
3. Why did I waste 90 min. of my life for it.

There were some funny moments, but as a whole it's an absurd mess.

Me and my lady couldn't make it through it 40 mins we had no idea, didn't care and were pissed. it was the first movie we ever walked out of.

Attempted to watch it on dvd,... Ended up skipping through the majority of it (I never do that) Not worth the film it was printed on.

BTW WAR With Jet Li was just as S#@%%y and pointless!

I just saw an interview with Jet Li where he says he and the rest of the cast knew War was going to be "crap" when they were making it.

The stunt scenes in Die Hard 4 spoiled it big time, and lots of nonsense all around.

"Did he say anything about me?".... WTF?!

:)

Love, Liza - A cinematic story should have its ups and downs, and usually should end against the overall trend of the story. Love, Liza was just a downward spiral and ended with the protagonist utterly destroying his life. That's not an emotional journey, it's free-fall.

Napoleon Dynamite - Turned it off after 15 minutes. The humor is completely about the beautiful people in the audience laughing AT the awkward people on the screen. Maybe I have an overdeveloped sense of empathy, but I knew people like that growing up and the film actually made me a little angry. The local radio station plays audio clips so I've probably heard 1/2 the film; none of it seems funny to me.

Transformers - Who did they bribe to get a PG-13 rating?

Fantastic Four I, II - Do you really need an explanation?

Stealth - C'Mon!

Waterworld - Funny thing it I really liked The Postman.

C.H.U.D. - My father and I have a VHS copy that we re-gift to each other every Christmas.

Titanic - Sorta mixed on this. HATE the film, but the scene where LC dies at the end... Man, I can watch that over and over and over...

Tangent:

On the We Were Soldiers / Apocalypse Now comparison: Both were great films and as different as you could get: We Were Soldiers was a docu-drama on a single, real battle while AN was an odyssey with a real thin plot line who's sole purpose was to take you through Viet Nam to experience as much of it as you could (and even try to explain a lot of the forces behind the war).

I like the second Pearl Harbor DVD as it opens with the bombing and finishes the film, the first half of the film drags. It would have been a better film if it was done as a docu-drama like We Were Soldiers. Instead of a fictional story show the politics behind it, or just remake Tora!, Tora!, Tora!

Fantastic Four I, II - Do you really need an explanation?

A Jessica Alba movie where her character gets naked...

...but also happens to be invisible.

Someone above the line was just brain damaged. There's no other possible explanation.

Well, who wouldn't enjoy watching Leo die, over and over and over...?

Yeah, I didn't HATE this, but I didn't see what all the fuss was about.

I liked the Postman as well, but Waterworld is the one that's alwayys on FX or TNT. What's up with that?

I watched Resident Evil 3 and wow...It's like I turned the movie on and the credits came 5 minutes later. The movie went by so damn fast..just when I thought the story was going to get better, it just ended.

I was so disappointed. I saw the first 2, now they weren't that great in the first place, but they actually had some interesting stories and zombies got their asses handed to them.

Resident Evil 3 is either my #1/#2 worst movie I've ever seen. What a shame.

I think I can tolerate pretty much any movie. Even movies people consider terrible I find something good in.

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever...movie wasn't good but I did walk away with something I wont forget. Its that shot following the cop off the roof all the way down till he hits the ground. Its a very cool place to put the camera.

I think if I had to name a BAD movie that I just couldn't bear to watch...it was Premonition, man was that bad.

Another that was OK, not bad but was the biggest movie disappointment for me ever was Spiderman 3. One of those movies that SHOULDN'T have sucked at all...especially after #2.

Almost forgot Jimmy Hollywood, the first renter I ever turned off...

Looking at Barry Levinson on IMDB, maybe I just don't *get* his films. There sure are a lot of them and the only one that appealed to me was "The Natural" which is an absolute classic.

Really? Rainman, Diner, Sleepers, Wag The Dog, Bugsy. I love all of those.

Snakes on a Plane is the worst of all time !!! Whoever helped pitch that script probably at one point in his/her life sold ice to Eskimos. :)
