Pain in the ass
some really great shots in there. Makes me want to get out and get some around town. I particularly like the shot up at the sky at Radio City and the shots of Columbus Circle.

nice stuff, are you zooming while doing the time lapse or is it done in post? If done live can you explain how you did it?

I shot the whole thing in 720pn mode using 60p, and I also used the frame rate hack to shoot at 2fps for the timelapse shots. The timelases that have alot of motion blur were shot with a 350 degree shutter in syncro scan. The only timelapse shot I had to speed up in post was the one of people walking down the street while it zooms in. All of the zooms were done in post except for the shot of the guy walking through the tunnel at the first. That was in camera. All I really did in post as far as effects, was superimposing clips on top of each other, and keyframing the opacity levels to blend them. I also added some effects filters to a few of the clips.
