Letus Economy Dvx problem question?

First off I loved the adapter! One questionI can't get the ground glass square while having the threads tight. When I do tighten it properly with my dvx the square is not center. Any solutions? Does this description make sense? I don't have a rail system yet.
 
I don't think this is unique to the adaptor. It's an issue for all of them, and it's probbaly due to your CCDs. Some cameras have shifted CCds - this doesn't actually affect image quality, etc ,but it causes your ground glass to wind up not being square with your CCD

I owned the DVX with a Brevis 35 Combo. I did not notice that the CCDs were off-center. Looked pretty darn straight to me.

I cant say for the Letus adapter, as I have never owned one.
 
I believe there was a thread somewhere about that...only i saw it for the HVX offset issue. I'm too tired to search for it now, but if i remember correctly, you'd just have to leave it. But I don't know...you'll have to look up that thread. Personally i have that problem too with my economy to a small extent, but it doesn't really bother me so I leave it at that.

Seems my problem might be with connecting the adapter not sure if the ccds are actually shifted. The ground glass is almost vertical when my economy is tight on my camera. This mabye due to improper install of letus on my part? Sounds like you nailed it jade with that link. I don't understand this part "detach the silver ring from the adapter and reinsert it with right orientation"? How does one do this? What excatly is the silver ring.

You should have received this via email but I thought I would post it here too should others run across this issue in the future.

"There are 3 screws on the 72mm ring that attached to the camera. unscrew that. Then screw the ring tight into the camera. Once the ring is tight to the camera, put the adapter back and turn on your DVX to see alignment on the LCD. Once it is aligned, put back the 3 screws to tighten the ring to the adapter. -Hien"

The link to the FAQ that Jade posted is for the older Letus35 Flip. The Economy is adjusted differently as noted above.
