Hello. New to the forum but have been reading for a few months. You give good advice!

There was a new SD 302 under the tree yesterday. In the near future I will likely buy a 7 series recorder. Need a bag to accommodate both.

The Petrol Eargonizer comes highly reccommended but there is the PEG Z1 small and PEG Z2 larger bag. The place that sold the 302 said to get the medium. Not sure what model that is.

Anyone have this combo and can tell me whether the small PEGZ1 is large enough or should I go with the next larger size?

Will also be carrying 2 wireless, headphones, a few cables and mics.

Thank you
Bob

1 is enough , 2 is more room but heavier and 3 is to much for you
what is much important buy a harness, petrol have grate one

PEG Z1 is big enough. Didn't buy it.... it's heavier than than the 302 itself. Friend has it.... you will need the harness if you want to be a bag-man.

On the Z1, if you add the 7 series recorder, you will have to hang your wires in the outside pockets. They do stack but will hang out more. Also be informed, that the SD recorders have an interference problem with Lectro digital hybrid receivers. They can't be next to each other. Big discussions going on about it on the RAMPS newgroup. So if you use the 411's, you'll need to separate the receivers and the recorder. They don't play well together.

I forgot to ask: Is this the preferred way to work, out of a bag?

Does anyone work out of a Pelican case? For the time being, it's a solo operation so the bag or case will sit on the floor next to the camera.

Thanks again
