I have a palm treo, but I am considering moving to a NOKIA E70

All cell phone companies are populated by nasty, filthy whores. They should all be boiled in oil and cell phone service should cost about $.12 a month.

i was at a party last night with a few producers and we had a chat about documentaries, and I pulled out my iphone and showed them the trailers on the spot.

MARK HAS a funny link to a blogger who goes off on the Iphone and says the E70 is better. THANKS FOR THE LINK MARK.

Yes I know. I've been doing it for about three years on my treo. Muhahahahahhaha! :):)

my dad has the older version of the tilt...Well it looks like the tilt and made by at&t so it must be the older version , the tilt is a great phone and its nice that it has large keys for text:)

Barry, I'm doing an instructional video on the Tilt right now. So far it looks pretty cool.
I'm still waiting for the Google phone to put the whole industry on it's rear.

I don't need anything fancy, so my Sanyo Katana works really well. It's small and made of magnesium alloy, so I shouldn't break on me right away.

I have an Iphone-don't ask me how- and, sincerely, for someone making a living with Video, there's nothing more impressive than that fantastic screen and video out capabilities to show off. It had litteraly saved me from embarrasment due to a badly burn DVD- had the component cables ready, and Excelent Picture came out for my presentation. Impressive. As for the Internet and other functionalities, its an average phone for today's standards. Average Camera. Lacking 3g is a major down point.

I actually think the cell phone industry is a great example of how a very competitive market can be good for consumers. Yeah, customer service can be better, but the amount of accelerated innovation that occurs with cell phone technology is pretty staggering. And while I'll always want cheaper ANYTHING, the prices for what you get these days are pretty great. Of course, once the inevitable conglomoration and monopolization of the industry happens, we'll be bled dry.

iPhone owners need to understand that phones have been capable of (almost) everything the iPhone can do for years. WiFi is reletively new. Other than that, all the iPhone offers that is new if a pretty package.

I've had video on my PocketPC/Windows Mobile phones for the over 4 years now. And I'm sure mine wasn't the only one that could do it. Why do iPhone owners think their phones are the only ones that can? I will smack the next iPhone owner that thinks that only iPhones have internet access.

As for my recommendations, I have the Samsung Blackjack and will upgrade to the new Blackjack II. I'm very picky about phones and have to really like them to get the next version.

And I have Cingular/AT&T. I've been with Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T before I went to premerge Cingular about 4 years ago. Cingular has been the only one I've liked. Verizon was the worst. Never been with T-Mobile. HOWEVER, everyone I know or overhear hates their provider, but if you praise your own, they'll defend their own. I would choose by price and local area coverage. I'm sure they're all bad so get a good price/plan and make sure you have a signal where you need it.

And for the masses, that's what counts. It's normally the user interface that makes or breaks a product, and that's one of the big things behind the sucess of the iPhone, just like the iPod.
