My wife and I opened our presents to eachother a little early - and here is part of her gift to me.

(The people here are some of the only ones I know who can appreciate these)

Pointless Trivia: The name HAL was derived from IBM. Each letter is one less. (I-1=H, B-1=A, M-1=L).

I got her a photo printer which will hopefully help her with her photography business. I know it might not be as good as taking photos to a professional photo lab to get them printed - but I think if we have a printer at home she'll be much more apt to print stuff, play with different looks, experiment a bit more... etc.

She loved it.

Wait 'till she sees the prints it can spit out. (Speaking of which, always get the best paper you can for prints. I like the high-end semi-matte paper.)

That's an awesome gift. My wife prints photos professionally. The ones she prints at home on her Epson 2200 are every bit as good as the stuff they do at the lab. Your wife will have the benefit of added control over the images, instead of having someone say "ship it" for a less than optimum print.

lol...not a subtle hint at all but a good one :). Yes Como more movies! For christmas get netflix.
