Need to find repair person or shop broken dvx

so back in nov 1st my camera got stripped i found all the screws and parts for it I havent dared to put it back together. i place a casestte in and now errors pop up ona blue screen maninly with the tape head or gears spools etc. anyway i need this repair i have like 3 hundered dollars, im broke and have no camera to make money with now... so im really trapped. anyway looking for someone who will repair my camera back to working order. if you have any shops or anything please help me i really need it.
 
yeah thanks for the big help. i'm looking for something more percise i found a few on the board but most them end up with jan saying do this. well i dont have 1000 dollars to spend on a camera.

Someone whose been around for a couple of months tellin spidey to use the search...
I've seen it all now.
 
lol i know seriously. I just rying to find a good reasonable repair person. spec-comm is the only company i see but i dunno if they do dvx100 anymore. what sucks is with out this camera im gona go broke.
 
Just a thought...

I'm sure someone here would be willing to bring their own DVX (or HVX for that matter) to the table,
just for the chance to work with spidey.
 
i live out in the middle of no where. plus i like a camera being the extension of myself. never will i let someone touch it again... besides the repair person.

Spec comm was going be my answer. You should check with them, I would assume since the 100b is still being sold, they should still offer maintenance and repair.

uh your cam was in peices when you found it?
ok im imagining a dvx dissasembled and your like put back together?
ok?is that a bad joke soem played on you or is there more to the story
im no tech machanic but dang !!!that sounds hard get some pics!!

let me know what you do or happens im kinda interested ..
