Hey everyone,

I recently used my HVX and shot a film for a contest on YouTube sponsored by Fox Searchlight and Hp called "Project Direct". Our film landed in the top 20 in the world!

Its the second short i've shot using the HVX and it turned out great!

If you would like to check out the film, go to www.youtube.com/hammondcheeze

Its called Bobbing For Apples.

The HVX is for sure a great camera for up and coming filmmakers.

Hi Jeff, I liked your Bobbing for Apples film. I particularly liked the outdoor shots, what additional gear did you use to achieve the great film look you're getting from your HVX200?

I'm looking at possibly the M2 lens and I'm guessing you're using something similar.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a good Christmas!

Phill

Hi Jeff,

Your video is great! I especially like the way it's compressed. Can I ask how you got such good quality for Youtube?

Let me know as I'm a filmmaker as well and posting my new short videos that I'm shooting every week on Youtube. I about to post my latest one that I shot with my new HVX, therefore, would like to get the best possible quality.

Thanks!

Good story overall... nice pacing... good use of different shots. Overall good editing too. My favourite shot would have to be one of the tracking shots of the guys walking after they first meet, and the last slow-mo shot.

Great work overall!
