Error messages: P2 LACK (in red letters)

I have been recording 1081i / 60i on my HVX, P2 cards ( 2x 8 Gb) are in LOOP mode and firewire out to Firestore FS-100. I got an error message that said, "LACK " in red letters in the top left of the LCD screen. It disabled the Firestore from being in synch mode. If I turn the camera off then on , it goes away. Has anyone experienced this issue ?
Thanks as always.

You need to have two cards mounted, and at least 1 minute of available space on each card. Otherwise you get that message.

Thanks Barry. I stumped Panasonic and Focus Enhancements, you are the only one who knew, no surprise. But I put the camera in LOOP mode for recording, but when it got to 1 minute left, I got the message. Is there something I have to do when setting loop mode ? It did say LOOP on the screen, but the cards filled up and didn't want to LOOP. Both were empty when I started recoding. All footage was fine, but...any suggestions ?

Wrong Mode

Wrong Mode

Apparently I did have the camera in film cam mode, which would disable the LOOP setting. But why would it allow me to set the camera to that mode, while in Film cam mode ? Either way, I'm sure that's the problem. Thanks.

When I tried to switch the recording mode in the menu I was in Scene file 5 and the recording option was in blue, preventing any changes. I switched to Scene file 3 and was able to access the mode, then switched back to SC. file 5 to shoot. Scene file 3 is a videocam mode, so it would allow it to happen. But I did have to reset the LOOP if I turned the camera off. I guess that should have been a sign to me that I was trying to circumvent the menu ? I'll switch to video mode and I'm sure that the LOOP will function how I intended it to. Thanks.

Yep, you have to be in video cam mode for loop to work, so when you switched to the film cam scene file, that should have forced you back out of loop mode and into 'normal' record mode.
