ZFarms Productions Presents From Ohio With Lust

Well, script is 20+ pages. and there's a fight scene in it. the scene we were filming on Saturday, edited together is about 3 1/2 minutes long.


We're looking at a long runtime. We almost want to make it a feature, but we there are some time factors involved that prevent us from doing that. We're looking at a 25 minute short, BUT it is non stop jokes. Each scene has something, and we've been looking to cut stuff out of it too. Who knows what it'll end up being

We want the fight scene to be long but not boring. we just don't want a short fight scene where it looks like we did it that way cause of time constraints.

I'm working on some rewrites on the script. We don't have enough people to do the giant fight scene we were planning, so I changed that to a 4 person battle royale. Now I just need 2 or 3 more people cast in a couple roles, and we're set.

Some more filming is going to be done next week, and knock a lot of the film out. It's going to be completed by the end of December.

Thanks! It'll go good, it's just me and Jake (Levi). We're taking care of the scenes that take place at his house, then on Wednesday taking care of scenes that take place at my house.

After that we have to do the enemy shoot, which will only take a day, if that.

All in all we're in pretty good shape.
 
got some good shooting done today. friday we'll be filming a good chunk of the movie. then next week taking care of all the enemy organizations filming. then the second weekend in december filming the fight scene (which we cut down tremendously)
 
had to push filming back to today instead of yesterday. we got a lot done, and basically have only 6 scenes left to shoot. half of that will be done monday and wednesday if needed.

i'll have some grabs up monday sometime
 
doing the editing now. i'll try to get some grabs up sometime today. we reshot a good chunk of the movie, and it turned out a lot better.

if i'm feeling like it, i'll try to post a clip of the movie too.
 
ok, after a couple reshoots we're ready to wrap production tomorrow.

we're filming the fight scene tomorrow, and everythings a GO. i did some quick rewrites just now on the scene to fit more with what we ended up having to do. its a lot funnier now.

alright. its finished, but tomorrow i need to render it out again, cause for some reason it looks like ****. i exported it out of final cut into a .avi file... which is the best to export out as?
 
the humor is great, production quality could have been better. It bothered me that it was b&w. I only got to about 3 mins in then google got hung up. You should find another place to post or maybe cut your vid up into different scenes.

must be something about Ohio, I have family and friends back home who do similar videos.
 
we did it in black and white for a couple reasons. 1) its prequel was in b&w 2) if we were going to have blood in it, we could use whatever we wanted as long as it was dark, cause we couldn't find any fake blood around 3) it was a creative choice.

Production quality could have been better, but we had very little to work with as far as locations, actors, and such.

I think your actors and locations were great. It was the production value itself that was the problem. Needed better audio for sure. Lighting wasn't too bad from what I saw. I'll take a look at it on myspace, thanks for the link.
