Importing DVX100b footage on another camcorder

I'm sure that this has been asked a lot.... I am doing a film in January where it will be filmed using a Panasonic DVX100b in 24p. I will be importing the footage from MiniDV tape using my Panasonic PVGS-150 camcorder. That (PV150) camcorder records in both 4:3 and 16:9 and imports those aspect ratios as well. Will any of this effect the frame rate or sound?

Thanks Matt

Yep, you can capture dvx footage in any deck pretty much since it's all recorded at 29.97 anyway.

Just set the timeline/export to progressive and you're all set.

Canon's a1 footage is a different story as that actually is recorded at 23.98 ON THE TAPE ITSELF and no extra frames are created...you'll need an A1/G1 to capture that or a specialized deck.
