Hi Faith,

I did get the dvd. Thanks.

I will try to bring my crane, but I have to double check with DC to see if there is room. (DC this is me double checking by the way. if its a big room, let me know and I'll bring the big guns.)

Not sure about bringing my table though.

There's a back area (outdoors) that should allow for that. Hopefully there won't be rain. :)

Yep, bringing my Letus Extreme set-up:

Which model is it? please be the plastic one... I want to check that one out

EDIT: crap... it is the fancy one made out of metal... :( I want the lego one!!! it is cheaper :D
I need to see if it is flimsy or if it is made of extremely hard and thick plastic

Hey anyone wanna go to Vitellos after the meeting?

uslatin,
Yes I got me one of those. Should be bringing it. Though I have to take my HVX to get the Firewire port repaired so I hope its back to me befor sat.

Let me know and I'll bring mine for you to fit it with all your gear if you need a spare. I'd like to see your complete rig put together.

MAN! I can't wait to see that LCD... :( I hope I can make it

If I make it this might be what I'll bring outta my stash:
_ Flo Lights FL-220 (dimmable four bank kino)
_ Focus head on 2-stage sticks
_ Rowe Cine Dolly (should I?)

If needed:
_ Spare HVX for Siniarch

I meant going to the meeting. I guess I just though about it. if we all cheap in $10 and eat there, no one will want to go to vitello's after. :(
Oh well.

yea... :)

Anyone got a Blue- Ray burner?

If so I'd love to burn a copy of my short :D and then all we need is someone with a PS3 and we are set for HD :)

I am confused man, when I went to their website to buy my adapter I only saw one model. one price. Not sure what it is made of, but it was around $1,200.00 if that answers your question? I am not aware that they make 2 types? I JUSt got mine in a week ago. I ordered it 3 weeks ago.

Yes please bring your dolly I am in the market for one and would love to compare with the indie dolly

I'd wait till we hear back from Siniarch as a projector would be better for a large crowd but I'd be ok with a 24". What screen is it?

Well, I'm waiting (1st) to see if DC still needs a projector. (2nd) to see if my friend doesn't mind me using his projector. I already have an old projector screen at my mom's that I can pick up for the event. Guess I should also (3rd) get an ok from DC to come early and set all this stuff up.

Also, latin, I think the projectors take either vga or dvi so you can bring your laptop and show your short straight from there. Of course the projectors are probably not HD but maybe 1024x768. I'll have to double check.

Well my lappy is acting up... and I don't have a production monitor yet so the CC is not good.. and my speakers haven't arrived so the mix is not right yet...

...but I will see if and how I can show it to you guys.

"A Walk in the Dark" is not my script and I didn't direct it. I wish I had something I directed to show.

Please, feel free to click on my sig and go to my site. The site is bare-bones but it does have the last version of the short.

Maybe someone with a MacoBook Pro could play HD from externals to an HD monitor. I am sure those can handle HD. My single core, crappy video card lappy wouldn't anyway. Macs have DVI too...

I could render a 1080 x 817 and would have no problem bringing a 24" LCD to show it how I'd CC it for DVD once I get the production monitor.
