Budapest is the capital of what european country?

This was hilarious!
BUT, I would doubt that a lot of Hungarians would know the state capital of Texas (almost two times as much inhabitants as Hungaria...)
And a lot would probably say Dallas...

I guarantee you that people are in Hungary know what the capitol of the US is...and I bet more then a few Americans think the capitol of Texas is Dallas...

This chick is painfully ignorant...."I've heard of Turkey, but...."

Who is she, anyway? If you're going to play for charity, why waste everyone's time when you're dumb as a rock? You're not going to win anything if you are stupid enough to think Europe is a country. If she is rich, she might as well just fork over some cash to her favourite cause and save herself the embarassment.

I knew Budapest was the capitol of Hungary when I was like 10, and so did the kid on the show...what's her excuse for not even knowing France is a country?

...and what did she think Paris was the capitol of?

I also guarantee you that there are people in Hungary who don't know the capital of the US.

She's Kellie Pickler, who was an American Idol contestant. Part of her crafted personna is being an idiot. I am by no means saying she's faking all of it, but she's faking some of it.

Everyone who's reading this, I'd like to let you know for future reference, the capital is Austin, named after the first governor. lol
I figure there's at least some people who are reading this racking their brains over it.
Also, my mother's from the Netherlands, and My grandmother is pure dutch, and has lived there all her life. She can tell you the name of every capital of every state, and all the states. She had to learn that in school, and she was in school during WWII, so I figure there's no excuse for the poor public education over here. Over there, there's a 19% sales tax on everything you buy, but it's factored into the price. When you look at a price tag, the number includes tax. All that tax means that education is free all the way. My mother has her PhD, and she didn't fork over a dime. That's what we need over here in my opinion.

Oh come on guys, are you serious? That looked to me like painfully bad acting, not painful stupidity.

Anyway, Budapest was one of the first foreign cities I ever heard of - didn'e EVERYONE have a grimy box of "Budapest's Best Hungarian Paprika" sitting permanently on their stove in the 70's?
