has anyone ever dreamed an entire film before?

Steve DeJarnatt apparently woke up from an extremely detailed and long dream about receiving a wrong number phone call from a frantic father trying to warn his son about an impending nuclear attack. After hanging up, Steve (first person in the dream) realized the call was not a prank, and he had an hour to find the woman he loves and get of town. The dream was so vivid that he wrote it down, and eventually made it into The Miracle Mile, with Anthony Edwards (of ER).

I've been having these dreams for about a week now. I can't really make it out, I dream these 'short' films every freaking night. May have something to do with finishing up my last project, and looking to new ideas.

I was once out strolling one very hot summer's day
When I thought I'd lay myself down to rest
in a big field of tall grass
I lay there in the sun and felt it caressing my face

And I fell asleep and dreamed
I dreamed I was in a Hollywood movie
And that I was the star of the movie
This really blew my mind, the fact that me,
an overfed, long-haired leaping gnome
should be the star of a Hollywood movie

But there I was, I was taken to a place, the hall of the mountain kings
I stood high upon a mountain top, naked to the world
In front of every kind of girl, there was
black ones, round ones, big ones, crazy ones...

Out of the middle came a lady
She whispered in my ear something crazy
She said:

Spill the wine and take that pearl, Spill the wine and take that pearl
Spill the wine and take that pearl, Spill the wine and take that pearl

I once dreamt, that i went to bed, and i woke up, and it was 5 months later. I was so scared, and panicky, wanna no y? Cause i havent checked DVXuser, or facebook for 5 months, and i was all worried i was behind in date and what not.

Im actualyl thinking of making a short on this exact dream. A boy goes to sleep and wakes up 5 months later. Scary eh?

never dreamed an entire film before. but during production on Heart of Now, i was constantly dreaming that i was still on set. usually the events were scenes we'd be doing the next morning. and after we wrapped, I had an anxiety dream where we laid out all the footage in the timeline and it only amounted to 90 minutes worth of material. in real life we had shot 50 hours worth. also related to dreams, during the last week of production, the lead actor was having dreams "in character". nothing in her real life existed, all her friends were her character's friends, etc, etc. i have to admit, that makes me happy to know. although she said it caused her great anxiety because the problems the character was dealing with had become her problems in the dream.
