What are you getting your wives for Christmas?

I keep telling my wife that if she'd request reasonable stuff, such as a new 4banker Kino or a Schoeps mic, that she'd get more of what she asks for.

I have no idea. I'd like to say plane tickets to her home country for all of us, b/c she can now finally go and visit, but that's not so much a present, as it is a requirement :)

I want to get her something good this year, but I just have no idea yet.... I am kinda bad about getting her stuff that she does like, but stuff that I want to, and usually end up using more than her (like last year with the archos).

I want to get her a manual SLR film camera and slowly open her to the arts that I'm interested in (she acts, dances, and sings).

...but I don't think I have enough money. Maybe I do. Any recommendations?


Note: The "acting" she does will not benefit me. she is partial to theatre acting. You can imagine the arguments we get in over that.

If your not gonna go all the way, why waste her time, I mean it's Justin freaking Timberlake! She'd open it and be all, "what? I thought it was JT's?" and you'll be crying in a corner 'cause she doesn't "appreciate" anything you do for her, yadda yadda...

That's more stress then any man needs to put on himself.
