It's just like the time I developed an apparatus to overcome the Coulomb barrier and achieved Cold Fusion.

But I left the device on a cross town bus ...

And my dog ate all the research ...

And then I had a head injury which gave me selective amnesia and I forgot everything I knew about nuclear physics.

Sucked. No one believed me either.
 
i seriously dont know how some of the users here can act so rude towards anyone, especially people you dont know, i feel sorry for your clients that dont know the real you. whats most amatuer are your personal and racial comments through PM'S. Its funny that the same people you helped out along the way are the ones doing most of the bashing. At least for me, it shall be profitable.
 
Hm, I was really hoping for some footage instead of a still. To be honest that picture could have been taken from any digital camera. And I really do think it's ridiculous how people have posted just to make fun of you, but really the only way to set it right is for you to show us some footage, and not just a teaser.

is it me or is that image just 1023x572? Where is the 2k, where is the 4k?

I'm not condoning it (the bashing), but common. For someone to claim to have done what it took Juan over 1yr, you have to understand the skepticism.

also, you start the thread by talking about up-rezing the image with Genuine Fractal. Then out of nowhere you say, ok ok people, I see your concern with uprezing, but I actually have also figured out how to do uncompressed footage at 4k and 2k.

That just seems crazy (possible, but crazy) My guess would be that you have uprezed your HVX footage with Genuine fractal to 2k and to 4k, you are telling us that it is uncompressed and 4:4:4 at 2k. You will let people see it, and everyone who does agree that it is great and the color is great, etc... etc...

Then you will tell everyone, see I use Genuine Fractal after all, and you all couldn't tell the difference. See how good it is.

Now, please understand, that I'm not making fun of you. I'm just voicing my opinion. If this is in fact what you are doing, I think you are going about it the wrong way. Why try to fool people? Just to prove a point? Not worth it, and you will end up with a bunch of people who think you are deceitful and a liar.

On the other Hand, if you have actually developed this technologies, then KUDOS to you and all those involved. (it was just an awkward way to start the post. it could have read "hey everyone I've developed a 2k and 4k solution myself that I've been working on for the past 6 months)

if you in fact have developed this, then who cares what people say on this thread, you will benefit financially, and yes, its worth the trouble. (Just ask Juan how much he made on the sale of his co.)

you need to find another way to show your images because they get down-rezed to 1023x572. This just leaves more room for those doubters to justify their feelings. Please upload to a place that can hold 2k and 4k images.

Tell you what killfilm. I can let you use my server to host the full res footage or still, even if it's a very large size. Am interested in putting this thing to rest. If you want to do this then just shoot me a PM.
 
Siniarch, thank you for talking like a man. The genuine fractal thingy, probably nice for a still, but i was proving mike wrong, that a clip is just not the same.
I never claimed i'm a technician, my fiance is, here team are. Maybe, i should have started a second thread so no confusion arises but seems some people took it the wrong way. It may have took Juan a year to develop what he did, but my fiance and here crew are not juan! our technique is not juan's, the technology is not juan's. Remember how long the Red Cam took for a small team. well, the camera is there, you're merely tapping into something already there and not from scratch.

i dont know you siniarch, but pleasure to meet you either way. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but not an assumption, therefore you can't assume, i'll do this and that, then tell people this and that. No facts means no story.

we are not juan, although i do respect what he tried. we are five not one.
 
jade, thank you for that offer. let me talk to thomas when he is awake (i'm sleepy and its 4:37 am mountain). The uncompressed Clip is 4GB, one version is already uploaded, but i still want to try a couple more, so no dissapointments.
